The walk starts at 8.30 from the Library
Apologies if you’ve already had this, but most of the first e mails wouldn’t deliver.
This Sunday’s walk is around part of Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey. It’s 9 miles; a long rectangular walk parallel with the coast, one of the walks that Jenny led on last year’s May holiday. There are two short climbs of about 100 m. and 120m., but the rest is relatively flat.
After you’ve come over the bridge on the A 55, take the A 5025 which goes north to Benllech, Moelfre and Amlwych. We’re meeting in a carpark in the centre of Pentraeth; (SJ 524785) on the A 5025, about 5 or 6 miles from the A55. Just as you come into the village, there is a junction with the B 5109, again on your right. This will be signposted to Beaumaris The carpark will be on your right, just after this.
