Glyndwr’s Way is a good C walk of 10 miles and just under a 1000ft of ascent.
The walk starts with a 1 in 5 gradient hill which eases off to a gradually and intermittently rising walk for some 2+ miles on fairly even ground.
During this part of the walk there are good views arising in different directions as the walk progresses.
After reaching the summit of Y Golfa (not to be confused with Moel y Golfa) we descend to the valley floor.
The walk progresses a while in view of the steam railway before returning along a quiet enclosed valley of farmland.
