Sunday 28th July

A 9 mile C walk of great variety. The route initially follows the Ceiriog Valley to reach a section of the original 8th century Offas Dyke Path. This is followed via Chirk Castle to the Llangollen canal, leading to a return along the canal to Chirk, including a short tunnel (railed, but torch useful). Good paths throughout.
We will likely have lunch in grounds of Chirk Castle, which has toilets. If you’re a National Trust member then bring membership card for ease of access to toilets.
