This Sunday’s walk is a linear from Betws-y-coed and requires an EARLY DEPARTURE from Chester by 8.15am prompt.
This is slightly later than stated in the programme.
All members of the group need to arrive at the car park opposite the Woollen Mill in Trefriw in time change their boots etc and be ready for the bus at 9.50am.
The bus fare is £3.20 unless you have WELSH bus pass.
There are toilet facilities at Trefriw and at the beginning of the walk in Betws-y-coed.
The walk is just over 8 miles and has 1300 ft of ascent.
The main ascent is near the beginning of the walk.
Terrain is a mixture of stony tracks, soft soil, peat, and grassy tracks, and tarmac road.
There are stiles in places.
