Sunday 1st September

Penmaenmawr and Druids Circle
This is an 8 mile, B walk, exploring the attractive hills and upland plateau above Penmaenmawr, and visiting the famous Bronze Age site of the Druids Circle.
The total ascent is 618m, most of which is achieved in the first hour or so of the walk as we climb steeply out of Penmaenmawr up to the North Wales Path. We will take this nice and slowly, with plenty of rests for admiring the wonderful view! After that we’ll visit the Druids Circle, and pass another two stone circles, making our way over to the beautifully situated lake Llyn Y Wrach. We finish off with the scenic high level walk around Foel Lus on the Wales Coast Path.
Fantastic coastal views to The Great Orme, Anglesey, Puffin Island, and later in the day of the Conwy valley and castle.
