Sunday 22nd March

The walk next Sunday is at the western end of the Peak District, about 50 miles from our meeting point in Chester, but once out of Chester, all motorway except for the last 4 miles.

It is definitely a B walk but at only 8 miles long, does not have to be rushed. The overall ascent just over the 1500 ft.  A fresh change from previous weeks with 1% mud, 4% damp top soil and 95% good tracks.

The walk starts with a steady ascent, followed by a steady descent in the morning, and similarly in the afternoon. Good views to be had throughout the day.

Look forward to seeing you all at 9o’clock Sunday morning.
