Welcome to the Cestrian Ramblers website
If you enjoy the great outdoors and would like to share your day with others, come and join our friendly group of like-minded people. Based in Chester, we attract members from all around the region including Wirral, North Wales and Cheshire.
Take a look at our varied programme which offers Sunday walks, mid week walks, some with a pub lunch at the end, and Wednesday evening walks in summer. We also organise occasional walks taken at a slower pace, such as wildlife wanders to observe local flora and fauna, or town trail walks to explore local history and architecture.
We have regular social events ranging from theatre trips to meals out, as well as arranging long weekends away.
Cestrian Ramblers also has a thriving Footpaths Group which walks and monitors local public rights of way in support of the Rights of Way section of Cheshire West and Chester Council. These walks are organised twice a month.
