This walk is an easy B walk of approx. 9 miles with good views. It’s a figure 8 based on Rhuallt. The walk starts by climbing south to St. Beuno’s College, then drops down through flat fields, before returning to Rhuallt. Walking through Rhuallt, the walk then heads west across flat fields, which eventually rise steeply to a lane. After half a mile, it leaves the lane to enter Coed Cwm; rising steeply to meet the Offas Dyke path. It then follows this to descend to the village.
It’s a mixture of fields, woodland and short stretches of lane. There are several gates which will be very muddy, and a few fields will probably be wet.
